Nikko is one of Japan’s most important historical and natural destinations. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is home to some of the most elaborately decorated shrines in the country, set within a mountainous landscape covered in forests. For centuries, it has held both spiritual and political significance, closely linked to the Tokugawa shogunate. This tour combines architecture, history, and nature in an environment very different from Tokyo.

Rinno-ji Temple: We explore this historic Buddhist complex, closely linked to the religious development of the area.

Futarasan Shrine: We finish at this Shinto shrine surrounded by nature, with strong spiritual significance.
